So can someone tell me what is the situation with my bid on Overbay?
---For some reason I couldn't reply to your post so I'm just modifying. OK, sounds good that I'll be contacted. I had read that for certain circumstances owners would be able to negotiate with a player and sign him for 75 percent of what his demands would be. To me, this would seem like a case since nobody actually bid high enough to meet his demands.

As I posted in the FA list, you won the negotiation rights for Overbay. When the high bid is below the amount the player wants, you win the rights for the player but must sign him at a price closer to his demands. If you don't want to sign him at that amount, you forfeit the rights to him and it'd pass to the next in line. Since your bid was still below the amount he's seeking, Sanji will end up contacting you with what amount Overbay would sign for (I would guess somewhere around 8.5M per year). Hope that helps.
