Tim Redding (CHW)
This guy won't get must respect this season but he'll be a solid back of the rotation guy. He'll only be 327k for 06 and a lot of teams could use a workhorse like him bolstering the 4th/5th starter spot. With 32 starts and a good enough offense he could be a cheap 200 inning getter thing season.
Michael Tucker (NYM)
For a team looking for a flier outfielder this season, look no further. The guy has a fly trap for a glove but his arm and range arn't that great. He has a little speed and a little pop but I believe his RC/9 this year should speak for itself.
Andy Van Hekken (KCR)
Van Hekken should be a solid, if not great, pitcher. He'll be a cheap guy to bolster your staff with a good amount of innings and with good stuff. I'm predicting a breakout season.
Keith Foulke (BOS)
He is overpaid and has weak ratings but I think that in most years he could be a setup man. He definitely has a chance at tanking but he may have another good season of relief left.
Mike Myers (NYY)
Who didn't see this coming? Myers could easily get the job done in any bullpen. He should be a cheap reliever this year that'll be a great setup man or short reliever. Closer is iffy, but if you're closer lacking you could take a flier.
Ken Griffey Jr. (CIN)
The man is as fragile as a housefly but he still has it. 40 home runs is a little optimistic, if he can get a whole season in, so I'm going to go with 35 HRs.
Jeff Weaver (STL)
I don't expect a drop off like in real life, but I do expect a downgrade. League-average or slightly below league average ERA stuff with 200+ innings.
Aaron Rakers (BAL)
Rakers deserves a shot to break into the bullpen. He'll have an excellent strikeout rate with good control but his H/9 will fluctuate.
Chris Michalak (CIN)
I'd say give him a chance. A definite hit problem but the guy has great power and control. My suggestion is that Cincinatti should take a flier on this guy or deal him off to someone who will.
Any of you have any sleepers you think will perform?
